“Rules are like tools”…The better they are used and maintained…the better the results. Please read the following list of some of the more useful “HOUSE RULES.” Mahalo for helping all of us enjoy our stay at KAMAOLE SANDS.

Quiet Hours: Please be considerate of others….sound carries in our complex. So be aware that our quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am. For the consideration and enjoyment of your neighbors, please do not talk loud or use cell phones on the lanai or walkways in front of bedroom windows during these hours. Sam sez….“The trash chutes are noisy so avoid using them during this time.” Mahalo.

Smoking: Smoking benches with urns are conveniently located in the parking lots. Refer to the Resort Map. All other outdoor smoking is prohibited, and that includes lanais, BBQs, walkways, and the pool. Oh, most every unit has a no-smoking policy in place, with cleaning fees for violators.  Sandpiper Sam sez the owners want to make sure everyone at Kamaole Sands has a restful and healthy stay, so secondhand smoke is simply a thing of the past. Units share vent systems, so smoke infiltration cannot be avoided. Mahalo for your kokua.

Lanais: Please don’t hang towels, clothes or other items from your lanai railings. Sam sez… “this is unsightly and he may wake you up with a telephone call to remind you”.

Parking: Park only in the numbered stall assigned to your unit. There are designated VISITOR stalls for your visitors. Citations, vehicle boots, and towing are used to address illegally parked vehicles.

Barbeques: There are fifteen barbeques on property so Sam sez… “these areas are the only areas for outdoor cooking”. These are on a first come, first serve basis. Barbeque hours are from 8:00am to 10:00pm. Use of BBQ area limited to 20 persons per BBQ area at any one time, unless prior approval is obtained.

Birds: We all love the birds, so Sam sez not to feed them off of your lanai so they do not become a problem.

Tennis Courts: “…Follow the bouncing ball,” Sam sez. Tennis court hours are from 7:00am to dusk. Reservations may be made at the front desk for the day of play. Sign up for the next day is at 5:00pm at the front desk. One hour per group when others are waiting.

NO NOs: Sam’s list of NO NOs… Sam sez… “NO ROLLER BLADES OR SKATE BOARDS… “RIDE YOUR BIKE ONLY IN OR OUT”… “NO PARTIES THAT DISTURB OTHERS”… “NO SOLICITATION OF GOODS OR SERVICES PERMITTED”…NO PETS ARE ALLOWED AT THIS RESORT OR INSIDE ANY UNIT

Pool Rules: Pool hours are from 8:00am to 10:00pm
Sam sez…“Enjoy yourselves, but you gotta follow the posted rules of the pool.”

Pool Area Rules

  • Warning: no lifeguard on duty
  • Swim at your own risk
  • Registered Guests and Owners only
  • Guests 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult
  • No diving
  • No glassware or ceramic containers
  • No coolers or multi-packs of alcoholic beverages
  • No running, horseplay, or physical games
  • No radios without earphones
  • No flotation devices or snorkel gear
  • Shower before entering pool

Spa Rules North

    • Adults only / 18 years old and above
    • Use of Spa under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication is prohibited.
    • Caution – Elderly persons, pregnant women and those requiring medical care should consult a physician before entering the spa.
    • Do not use alone

Spa Rules South

    • No children under the age of 12 unaccompanied by an adult
    • No children under the age of 4 – Due to health and safety concerns
    • Use of spa under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication is prohibited.
    • Caution – Elderly persons, pregnant women, and those requiring medical care should consult a physician before entering the spa.
    • Do not use alone

That’s not all of the rules, but Sam sez… “if we follow these few rules and be considerate of others, we most likely won’t need to learn the other rules”.
